Which Bvckup version for Windows Server

Do I need the pro version for a non-commercial location copying from Windows 10 to Windows Server?

Using the trial everything worked, but I noticed it said all features were available.

Under current licensing terms you can use personal license only if you are backing up your personal, non-work related data on your home computer. In all other cases we require a Pro license.

That does not answer my question.

I am backing up personal non-work related data but I am using a Windows Server to do so. In the description of the versions on this page https://bvckup2.com/purchase/ Windows Server is mentioned under the pro version, but not the personal version.

I need to know if I require the pro version for this. Until I have an answer I will not purchase either version of the software.

If you have the program installed on a WS, you can use it under a personal license, but you will not receive technical support for any issues stemming from this setup. There are no functional differences between using pro and personal licenses in this context.

Thanks. We are going to put the software on each laptop and copy to the server.

Will we get support using it in this way?

Yes, you will.

You will also get a better performance if you are in a position to benefit from delta copying (as per https://bvckup2.com/support/forum/topic/739/4043).

I had already read that, but thanks for pointing it out.
