Is there a command that can be placed in the pre-backup command box to wake the computer up from sleep/suspension to run a backup job?russmd :

That box does not work for my Windows10 computer ay home, backs up to a network drive. I have my job scheduled daily at 2AM but it does not wake to do it - it waits till I log on. The basic Bvckup2 line is there in task scheduler, at log-on. Help?Alex Pankratov :

As per the /wip post linked above, make sure that wake-up timers are allowed at the OS level. This will be in the Control Panel > Power Options, Sleep > "Allow wake timers". With some machines there may also be a similar BIOS setting. You should however normally see an error in the backup log if the program fails to set up a wake-up timer (there's an example at the above link as well).
