Sorry if this has been answered before, but I'm searching and I could only see past topics in which it's stated that file checking is coming, but those were a few years ago.
I'm liking what I see, but want to know if file checking is happening and how it works? For example in case the copy destination has corrupted, while copying or later. Would Bvckup2 know? Is it comparing hashes?

Backup verification is not in the program yet. It is one of few large remaining features, and it is now on a short list. For the moment, if the bitrot is a concern for your setup, you will need to use external tools to detect it.
